DESIGN
FOUNDATION & STRUCTURAL
 |
Spread Footings & Drilled Piers
As with the soil test, our foundation designs are based
upon site specific information on and calculations. That can provide significant
savings on your project while making sure that all designs are consistent with
the latest industry standards and codes, ensuring the safety of your
building. We understand the properties of the diverse soils in the Front
Range area and can provide appropriate footing or drilled pier design. We
know that the interface between the soil and the foundation is often the most
critical part of any construction project.

 |
Framing
As with all our design, we are concerned about your
construction costs as well as making
sure that your structure is safe and
sound. Because of our commitment to build the best structure possible while
minimizing costs, we perform calculations for each structural member, knowing
the difference when specific members are most effective, and when repetition
is a more effective solution. We can do hand calculations for smaller
projects, or use the latest version of STAAD for bigger projects. That means
that we’ll bring your project in on time as well, no matter what the size.

Retaining Walls
|
In conjunction with slope stability, we can design
retaining walls to ensure that the soil stays where it needs to be. This
allows you to take an inaccessible site and make it safe for your construction
for years to come.
 |
Underpinning
A structure may have problems due to inadequate soil
support or an unexpected change in the soil water content.
Underpinning a foundation will allow this type of structure to remain safe and
functional for a fraction of the cost of moving or rebuilding the structure.
We’ll look for the most economical method of stabilizing your structure. |
PAVEMENT
 |
Pavement Design
We will use the required local codes or AASHTO standards
to
provide effective and efficient pavement design in conjunction with the
substrata on which the pavement is placed, whether you need a parking lot, a
driveway, or service access.
